Automatically split your recording into equal-length segments
In Callaba, you can automatically split your recordings into equal-length segments, without any data loss between the cuts.
This feature is particularly useful for handling long video streams and making them easier to manage or share.
Here's how to set it up:
Create a New Recording
Start by creating a new recording in Callaba:
Go to Recording section. Click "Add New".
Select your Input Source (e.g., SRT or RTMP server).
Set Auto-Clipping
Auto Clip Mode: set to "Split video into segments by time".
Specify segment length: Once you've selected the split mode, you can define the segment length.
For instance, you can split the recording into 15-minute chunks by entering 15 minutes in the segment length field.
Start Recording
Start your recording. Callaba will automatically create segments of equal length as specified (in this case, 15-minute segments).
Use your segmented files
Once the recording is complete, you’ll find your video split into equal-length segments.
These files are immediately ready to be used, shared, or processed further without any loss of information between the cuts.
This method helps you break down large recordings into manageable pieces, perfect for archiving, reviewing, or uploading in smaller, convenient portions.
By following these simple steps, you can easily split any recording into equal-length segments in Callaba.
