Sync NDI® streams in the cloud: set Timestamp Offset
In Callaba, you can easily adjust the timestamp offset for your NDI® streams to ensure perfect synchronization between video and audio. Here’s how to set it up:
Access the NDI® Adapter
Go to the NDI® adapters section in Callaba.
If you haven’t created an adapter yet, click Create new adapter, give it a name, and select your input source.
If you already have an adapter, click "Edit" to modify the settings.
Set the Timestamp Offset
Locate the Timestamp offset (ns) field.
Enter your desired offset in nanoseconds.
Here are a couple of examples to guide you:
1 second = 1 billion nanoseconds.
50 milliseconds = 50 million nanoseconds.
You can use both positive and negative values to adjust the synchronization:
- Positive values delay the stream.
- Negative values speed it up.
Save and Verify
Once you've entered your desired offset, hit Save.
Check if your NDI® device appears in the Discovered Devices section to ensure it’s active and configured correctly.
By setting the right timestamp offset, you can sync your video and audio streams accurately, improving the quality of your live production.
