Multiview is a monitoring surface. It does not replace the source modules: recording, switching or routing should bind to the same verified upstream resources rather than to a visual tile.
Before you start
Live SRT, RTMP, NDI or other committed source kinds already visible to Callaba.
A defined audience: authenticated operators or public view-only users.
A layout sized for the number and importance of inputs.
Settings explained
These are the controls an operator needs to understand. Internal field names and implementation events are intentionally omitted.
Board
Define the identity and access boundary.

Explain what operators see.

Safe first workflow

Create a board and choose Private unless a public view is intentional.

Select a layout and add only already-verified inputs.

Name or position primary, backup and output signals consistently.

Start the board and open it in the intended authenticated or public context.

Remove or repair any tile whose media or state does not match the source module.

How to build it

Create a separate board containing only sources safe for the intended audience.

Open the public link in a signed-out browser.

Confirm media is visible and no private operator controls or unrelated inputs are exposed.
Verify the result
- Every tile shows the expected source and stable label.
- A private board requires authentication.
- A public board opens signed out and exposes no dashboard controls.
- Source health shown in Multiview agrees with the owning module.
Troubleshooting
A tile is blank while the board is running
Check- Open the source module and verify media.
- Confirm the selected source still exists.
- Check public/private access context.
Repair or reselect the source; restarting the board cannot create missing upstream media.
