Cosa fa questo modulo

File manager is the handoff point between upload, recording, conversion, storage and browser playback. Treat visibility and destination as deliberate publishing choices.

Prima di iniziare

  • A media file supported by the intended downstream player or transcoding profile.

  • Enough instance disk for the upload and any temporary conversion.

  • A tested external storage when the asset must leave local disk.

Impostazioni spiegate

Sono mostrati i controlli necessari all’operatore. Nomi interni dei campi ed eventi di implementazione sono intenzionalmente esclusi.

File identity

Make the asset understandable to operators and viewers.

Name

Operator-facing name shown in file listings and selectors.

Description

Optional context for the asset and its intended use.

Path or upload

Upload a local asset or identify the supported source path.

Publishing

Control how downstream modules may expose the file.

Visibility

Choose whether the file may be used through a public URL or remains private.

Output format

Optionally convert the upload into the format required by the next workflow.

Transcoding

Apply video, audio or overlay settings only when the source is not already delivery-ready.

Risoluzione dei problemi

Upload or conversion stalls

Controlla
  • Check free disk and source file size.
  • Confirm the selected output format is required and supported.
Poi procedi così

Retry with the original file and no conversion, then introduce one conversion setting at a time.

The file exists but the player cannot use it

Controlla
  • Preview the asset directly.
  • Check visibility and media format.
  • Confirm the player points to the finalized file.
Poi procedi così

Correct the file format or player source; do not recreate access credentials until media playback works.
